Top Food Delivery Kitchens in Gurgaon, India

It takes about 9 minute(s) to read this content.

Feeling hungry but too tired to cook? No problem. Just got back from work and don’t want to go out again? No issues. The pandemic keeping you indoors? Sorry about that.

What we are certainly not sorry about are all the lovely restaurants and cloud kitchens working tirelessly these days. In fact, if anything, they deserve to be applauded and celebrated.

Eating yummy food in the comfort of your own home has a different feel altogether. While many restaurants do deliveries, “home” kitchens that don’t have prime commercial space but still want to dip their toes in the food business have mushroomed across cities over the last decade.

Delivering to offices and apartments, these cloud kitchens have made it easier to savor good food, usually within an hour, without having to do anything except tap a few buttons on the phone. So, here are some of the top delivery kitchens in Gurgaon known for their delectable food.

Chadha Aunty & Sons

With a name so sweet, you can’t help but imagine the motherly love that goes into the making of Chadha Aunty’s famous tandoori chicken. Well-known in the non-vegetarian foodie circuit of Gurgaon, Chadha Aunty will impress you from the moment you receive the order. The food comes packed in a nice box with stickers like “roses are red, tandoori chicken is also red, I don’t know poetry, I just want to be fed.” As a result, you’re off to a hearty start even before getting a whiff of the flavorful preparations.

The delivery-only kitchen focuses on North Indian and Mughlai food. The must-eats to order are boneless Bombay chicken, mutton seekh, double fish tikka, and dal makhani.

Biryani By Kilo

Biryani By Kilo is a market leader when it comes to delivering mouth-wateringly good biryanis. The reasons for their success are many folds. Firstly, biryanis are sealed and cooked in an earthen pot. The same sealed pot is what you get, along with a stand and a tealight to keep the biryani warm while you devour it. Most importantly, they flavor the biryanis to perfection, making sure the food, including the kebabs, curries, and salan are never too spicy.

Lastly, the choice in biryanis is phenomenal as you can pick anything from Hyderabadi and Lucknowi to Kolkata-style biryani. Adding another feather to their cap, Biryani By Kilo recently started vegetarian and non-vegetarian platters, which are bound to be a hit.

Noshi

Admittedly, there are a few good Pan-Asian delivery options in Gurgaon. However, Noshi is amongst the best. Their food does come in plastic boxes, but you can easily re-use them several times. The food, though, is always fresh, vibrant, and prepared with the kind of delicateness that Japanese dishes require and deserve.

As for the menu, there are enough choices that you can order different items a few times without having to repeat anything. Dishes not to skip are prawn miso soup, truffle okonomiyaki – Japanese pizza, chili crab dim sums, and sushi as per your individual preference. The bomb hosomaki, krunchy kale, and enoki and mushroom sushi are good to start with.

Chak De Tikka

It’s raining chickens at Chak De Tikka, the newest “kebabri” to open its delivery-only doors in 2020. The cloud kitchen instantly stands apart because it has the hardworking team of the popular The Pasta Bowl Company behind it. Chak De Tikka, though, is all about popular tandoori dishes, roomali rolls, and biryanis.

If planning to order from them, try the chicken pakora, malai broccoli, boneless tawa mutton, and the soya chaap roll. The food comes packed in proper containers, and you can expect timely delivery even when ordered through an aggregator app.

The Joint Cafe

Okay, we are making an exception with The Joint Café. They do have a cute little dine-in location in the Galleria market, but it’s hard to top them when it comes to gourmet burgers. Serving continental comfort food, the cafe deserves credit for experimenting with different flavors and ingredients that eventually go into their monster burgers.

Meat eaters should try their mix of grilled German sausages or the sixty-nine burger with busloads of chicken and cheese. Their killer mac and cheese and French onion soup are also recommended. The Joint Café only has two vegetarian burgers, so go with Caroline, which has a vegetable patty, homemade pickles, and French provolone cheese.
